Sika 1 5L Waterproofer

Sika®-1 Waterproofer is a water-based solution that contains complex colloidal silicates. When exposed to water, these silicates expand and block the capillaries and pores in sand/cement renders, screeds, and mortar, creating an effective barrier against the passage of liquid water.

Sika®-1 Waterproofer is employed in various applications, including structural screeds to withstand below-ground water pressure when used alongside Sika®-1 pre-batched mortars, waterproof renders for moisture resistance above ground, internal basement waterproofing below ground, and as a general waterproofing admixture for mortar.

• Suitable for brick, concrete and stone substrates.
• Can be applied against live water infiltration, in conjunction with Sika® 2 and Sika® 4a.
• Wall render and floor screed application.
• Can be used internally and externally.
• Excellent resistance to backwater pressure.
