Premium Grade Lawn Turf- 1m2 roll (1 roll measures 1.65m x 0.6m equivalent to one square metre coverage. Approx. 5’6″ long by 2′ wide in ‘old money’)

This is our premium grade turf specially cultivated on our suppliers farms in Essex and Suffolk to provide a durable turfed lawn which can be easily laid and maintained. Our  production methods are the result of many years of experience, and attention to detail, from seed bed preparation and sowing through to mowing and final harvesting. Regular mowing, spraying, feeding, rolling and irrigation are undertaken to ensure an even, thick and weed free dark green sward, which remains an even consistency throughout the whole year.

Our turf is not harvested until it is fully mature and we are satisfied that it meets the high standards that customers have become accustomed to. We believe in paying attention to detail. All of the Turf is grown from our suppliers own seed mixtures using only top STRI (The Sports Turf Research Institute) cultivars for high germination, good establishment and disease resistance.

This turf meet the exacting standards set by the TGA (Turfgrass Growers Association) and is grown in the Tendring Hundred area of North East Essex, which is well known for its high quality loam soil. This is ideally suited for excellent turf establishment on a wide range of soil types.

Carefully scheduled seeding programs by our suppliers ensure availability all year round and we can supply in the depths of winter, conditions allowing, or in the height of summer, thanks to the farms extensive irrigation system.

We recommend the turf is laid the same day of delivery and is well watered in. In extreme conditions extra care must be taken to ensure the turf is properly maintained ie. Regularly watered preferably early and late in the day.
