The natural beauty of Plum welsh slate chippings is perfect for uses as a mulch, foot traffic pathways, rockeries, borders, water features, seating and patio areas and is supplied in a bulk bag and will enhance any garden large or small.

Plum welsh slate looks at its best when wet so is also ideal around water features, alsolooks great next to rusty Slate paving, Indian sandstone paving, Decking, sleepers with the fact that it is naturally formed provides the perfect finish. Ideally it should be laid on a weed suppressant material that is pegged down using mulch mat pegs to a depth of approximately 50mm, the deeper the better if being used as a mulch for frost purposes or for water retention on the garden or raised vegetable beds.
