MOT Type 1 Mini Bag

MOT type 1 is used as a sub-base for many building projects, including patios, pathways and driveways. It is tested by the Ministry of Transport for resilience against frost and excessive heat and remains stable under these conditions.

Depending on the type of traffic, the sub base needs to be laid in consolidated in layers from 50mm for patios up to 200mm for driveways. Heavy traffic should be referred to an engineer for advice.
